Sightseeing Spots in Ohito

From the footbath in front of the station to a geosite crag towering over the Kano River

Ohito is a hot spring town that prospered along with its gold mine. Learn the origins of the hot spring at the "Ogon-no-Yu" footbath in front of the station, then head to Mt. Joyama across the Kano River. Admire the dramatic rock face of the Izu Peninsula Geopark, and if you have the energy, hike to the summit.
